I am a Master of Architecture student at UniSA living, working and studying on Kaurna land in Adelaide, South Australia. Throughout my academic journey, architecture has provided me the opportunity to express my creativity in the form of architectural design and hone the skills required to become an architect.
Having lived for six and a half years in California and through my travels both within Australia and internationally, I have gained a broader understanding of how culture, lifestyle, and environment helps to shape the lived experience. These experiences have exposed me to many different and unique architectural styles not prevalent in Adelaide, many of which have inspired my own designs.
In addition to my studies, my work in hospitality and events has fuelled my passion for creating spaces where people and communities can come together. This experience has also provided me with valuable insight into how people interact with and within spaces. It has deepened my interest in investigating the impact of architecture on communities, which I plan to explore further in my Master’s studies.
