Goodwood Green brings together sustainable design and community connection within a precinct shaped by Kaurna cultural values and sustainable design principles. A central green corridor, rooftop gardens, and balcony planting aim to reduce the heat island effect, while native flora and intentional landscaping and form foster a deeper connection to Country. Integrated into the heart of the precinct, the central ceremonial space recognises Kaurna traditions and reinforces the site’s cultural identity.
Within the precinct, building three contributes 40 apartments while promoting connection and ulture through staggered balconies, subtle landscaping, and carefully planned shared spaces. The design prioritises comfort and performance, with Passive House principles guiding airtight construction, high-performance glazing, and mechanical ventilation, achieving a 9.1 NatHERS rating. A ground-floor co-working space and a shared rooftop garden offer places to gather, work, and unwind, reinforcing the precinct’s vision of inclusive, climate-conscious living.
