The lookout pavilion at Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park is designed to offer visitors a place for rest, shelter, and observation while taking in sweeping views of the valley. Positioned to face north, the pavilion frames these views while providing shade and protection from the elements. Its cantilevered structure extends over the valley, creating a sense of immersion in the landscape. Visitors enter from the south, with the design carefully oriented to enhance both comfort and sightlines.
