The project brief was to create a cultural center in Yuendumu, Northern Territory, dedicated to housing reclaimed cultural artifacts and fostering community connections. My design draws inspiration from the existing basketball stadium on the site, blending a contemporary architectural superstructure form with locally sourced stone. This fusion creates a grounded, welcoming space that facilitates meaningful connections between the community and their cultural heritage.
